• Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr.(Lansing, 14 de agosto de 1959)é um ex-basquetebolista norte-americano que atuou como armador pelo Los Angeles Lakers na National Basketball Association (NBA). Johnson é considerado por alguns como maior armador da história da NBA,tendo conquistado cinco vezes o título da liga e sido eleito, em três temporadas, seu melhor jogador. Sua passagem pela NBA ficou eternizada com sua inclusão na lista de 50 Maiores Jogadores da História da NBA e pela sua indução no Basketball Hall of Fame. Johnson aposentou-se abruptamente em 1991, após anunciar que havia contraído o VIH, mas retornou para a disputa do Jogo das Estrelas, recebendo o prêmio de Jogador Mais Valioso da partida. Após protestos de seus companheiros de esporte acerca de sua condição, ele se aposentou novamente por quatro anos antes de retornar em 1996, aos 36 anos, para disputar mais 32 jogos pelos Lakers antes de se aposentar pela terceira e última vez.
